How the price compares
Against the $2,000 homeschool account, a family would cover about $260 a year for a K-2 student and about $1,000 for a student in grades 3-12.
Approval comes first
TEFA can pay an online program only after Texas approves it, either as a participating school (accredited, two years in operation, a Texas office) or as a marketplace vendor. Check AmFaith's current Texas status before budgeting around the account.
A model for congregations
One model a Tarrant County church could try: host online students on campus two or three days a week, with the church supplying space, supervision and community and the online school supplying instruction. Once accredited and operating for two years, a program like that could apply to TEFA as a school in its own right.
Our relationship
AmFaith doesn't pay to appear on this site and isn't a sponsor. We cover it because its pricing lines up with the Texas tiers, and we hold it to the same standard as every other school we describe.
