How the money fits
When we checked the state's finder on October 12, 2026, Fort Worth Christian School was listed as a TEFA participating school. That means a student with a funded account can put the $10,474 award toward tuition and required fees here. Odyssey releases each year's money in three parts: a quarter on July 1, a quarter on October 1 and the remaining half on February 1.
This school tells the state it offers special-education services or a learning-differences program. With a current IEP on file at TEA, a TEFA student's account grows: for a Birdville ISD resident, roughly $15,892 to $17,012 in regular-campus IEP settings, never more than $30,000.
This school also enrolls pre-K children. TEFA pays for a 3- or 4-year-old only if the child meets a state pre-K criterion, such as lunch-program income eligibility, limited English or a parent on active duty (reservists count while ordered to active duty). Kindergarten has no such test, so an eligible child can continue here on the full award.
Many Tarrant County Christian schools price by church membership or offer sibling and ministry discounts, and the state's guidelines keep those in force for TEFA families. Church-run schools may also be eligible for the Edu Fund partner scholarship, which has no income limit.
